Minister of Basic and Secondary Education Monitors Orderliness of Academic Ability Test Implementation via Command Centre
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu’ti monitored the orderliness of the implementation of the Academic Ability Test (TKA) for primary education level nationwide via the Command Centre or TKA Assistance Post. On that occasion, Mu’ti greeted and provided support to the technical personnel tasked with ensuring the smooth running of the TKA nationwide. “Today, I directly observed the implementation of the third wave of TKA for primary school level. Based on monitoring and dialogues with organisers in various provinces, from the Education Offices, Ministry of Religious Affairs, and other related parties, the implementation is running smoothly and orderly. We are optimistic that, with this experience, future TKA implementations will continue to be improved to become higher quality and better,” stated Mendikdasmen Mu’ti in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday. Not only direct monitoring to educational units, he said that visits to the Command Centre also serve as one of the efforts to maintain the quality and reliability of this assessment’s implementation. At the Command Centre, Mu’ti interacted with the technical team monitoring the course of the TKA in real-time, covering system readiness, supervision of implementation, and responses to potential technical issues in the field. “The implementation of the third wave of TKA is running smoothly. In the first session, there were some schools in districts that experienced disruptions, especially with internet networks, but they have now been resolved,” he said. Meanwhile, Nurkhayati, representative of the Yogyakarta City Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, also conveyed that the TKA implementation in schools under the Ministry of Religious Affairs is running smoothly with a high participation rate. “For the Yogyakarta region, Alhamdulillah, like Central Java, it is safe and controlled; for the network, Alhamdulillah, it is stable. For Madrasahs, MI and MTs, 100 percent participation from all,” she said. The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education stated that it will always be committed to ensuring the TKA implementation runs credibly, transparently, and with integrity throughout Indonesia.
