Minister of Basic and Secondary Education Ensures Sanctions for TKA Supervisors Who Violate Rules
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu’ti has ensured that supervisors/proctors/monitors of the academic ability test (TKA) who are proven to have committed violations will be given sanctions in accordance with the violations they have carried out.
“Those who (violate) will be given sanctions by us, we will give them notes,” he said when met by journalists after launching the Inclusive Education Training Programme for 2026 at SMPN 16 Jakarta on Monday.
Abdul Mu’ti revealed that his side has also obtained the names of the supervisors, the locations of the violations, and the types of violations committed by the violating supervisors.
“We already have national data on violations, both by proctors and by supervisors and by schools, which we have now all documented,” he stated.
Abdul Mu’ti outlined several sanctions that will be imposed on the violating supervisors, ranging from reprimands to prohibitions from becoming TKA supervisors in the future.
“TKA is ongoing, so if it is indeed serious, we will not give them the opportunity to be supervisors next year. But if it is only a minor (violation) and can still be corrected, then we will give opportunities in accordance with the applicable provisions,” said Abdul Mu’ti.
