The main principle of all service reforms is to provide the public with certainty regarding the completion time of every application submitted through land offices in various regions of Indonesia.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid has emphasised that services are now built with certainty over completion times to accelerate service delivery while increasing public satisfaction in managing agrarian matters.

“This is one of our efforts, one of our endeavours, in quotation marks, to roll out the red carpet for the Indonesian people in terms of public services. The people must not be left feeling hopeless or frustrated because public services are uncertain. So we are providing certainty,” said Nusron after the Launch of the Service and Organisational Transformation of the Ministry of ATR/BPN in Jakarta on Monday.

According to him, the main principle of all service reforms is to provide the public with certainty regarding the completion time of every application submitted through land offices in various regions of Indonesia.

He stressed that the public must not visit a Land Office without obtaining clarity on the process and completion time, because certainty is the fundamental basis of quality public services.

“We are carrying out innovations, and the principle is to provide the public with certainty about when their matter will be resolved if they come to the BPN. So no one should come to the BPN without certainty about when their matter will be resolved. So the principle is the principle of certainty,” Nusron asserted.

According to him, certainty is the foundation of land services so that the public receives a clear, fast and satisfactory resolution in line with their expectations.

He said the system change is a step to accelerate measurement services, the granting of rights, and the transfer of rights while continuously improving the quality of land services throughout Indonesia.

For Nusron, the main goal of public services is to create public satisfaction through services that are easily accessible, transparent, fast and able to meet citizens’ needs professionally and equitably.

He stressed that land services are part of the people’s basic rights that the state must fulfil, just like services in the infrastructure, education and health sectors for all Indonesian citizens.

Therefore, the government continues to introduce various service innovations so that the public’s right to obtain land services can be fulfilled with certainty, speed, transparency and accountability in accordance with applicable regulations.

Nusron stressed that the state is not absent in resolving public issues, so the transformation of land services continues to be carried out to provide certainty, convenience and satisfaction for all Indonesian people.

He added that service certainty is expected to meet public expectations while increasing public trust in the quality of services provided by the Ministry of ATR/BPN.

The Ministry of ATR/BPN launched three land service transformations on the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia to improve time certainty, transparency and ease of public services.

“Modern public services must have certainty and transparency, they must be trackable, and people must be able to check how far the process has progressed. That is why we need this service transformation,” said Nusron.

The three transformations include Scheduled Measurement services, Integrated Transfer of Rights, and the implementation of a Region-Based Organisation work system, which were officially launched at the Land Office of West Jakarta Administrative City.

The three transformations are a manifestation of the Ministry of ATR/BPN’s commitment to providing more excellent, transparent land services that offer time certainty and greater fairness for the public.
