Minister Nusron: 400 Land Offices Implement Scheduled Measurement, Average Wait 6.2 Days

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid said that 400 Land Offices (Kantah) have implemented scheduled land measurement, with a national average waiting time of 6.2 days.

“As of today, around 400 land offices are using scheduled measurement,” Minister Nusron said in Jakarta on Monday.

Nusron said the implementation of scheduled measurement is intended to provide certainty to members of the public who are processing land matters.

He explained that before the policy existed, there was no clarity about when land measurement would be carried out. For this reason, from July onwards ATR/BPN has applied scheduled measurement with a maximum waiting time of seven days.

“Previously, if someone came to a BPN office asking for their land to be measured, there was no certainty about when it would be done. But as of today, scheduled measurement is in place,” he said.

Nusron said that of the 400 Land Offices that have implemented the scheduled measurement programme, ten of them are still above seven days, with some even reaching 90 days.

The ten Land Offices concerned, he said, are West Jakarta, East Jakarta, Bogor, Bogor 2, Sukabumi, Bandung Regency, Batam City, Kendal, Gersik, and Jember, which are still above seven days.

Nusron therefore said his office would push these Land Offices to maximise services to the public by adding more officers.

Nusron added that, in terms of the duration of implementation nationally, the average has already reached 6.2 days.

“We will treat this problem by adding officers there. The essence of this policy within the service SOP is to ensure that the public has certainty in service delivery,” he added.
