Minister Meutya Hafid Praises detikcom for Initiating Digital Connectivity Appreciation 2026
Indonesia’s Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi), Meutya Hafid, has expressed appreciation for the Digital Connectivity Appreciation 2026 event initiated by detik.com. She views the event as a platform to honour the tangible contributions of individuals, communities, and institutions in broadening digital access and literacy in the country.
“I thank detikcom for curating this exceptionally well; we indeed have the capability to build connectivity, but media friends, especially detikcom, are the most adept at curating,” Meutya stated at the Digital Connectivity Appreciation 2026 event on Friday (17/4/2026).
“This is to show that the government cannot operate alone; we need collaboration with many parties,” she added.
In her speech, Meutya also commended the figures, partners, local governments, and industries that received awards at the event. She hopes that all parties will continue to work together to improve connectivity further.
