Minister: Hospitals Absorb Nursing Graduates Through MagangHub Programme
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Manpower Minister Yassierli stated that participants of the second batch of the National Internship Programme (MagangHub) who are graduates of nursing professional education are being widely absorbed by hospitals.
“Yes, there are professions. Those accepted at hospitals are nurses. Many nurses,” Yassierli said during a press conference held after the kick-off at the Ministry of Manpower, Jakarta, Tuesday.
Director General of Vocational Training and Productivity Development at the Ministry of Manpower, Darmawansyah, explained that what differentiates the 2026 Magang Nasional programme is the availability of internship vacancies for professional education graduates.
Internship vacancies for professional education graduates were opened in 2026 as a response to the high demand from the public to provide opportunities for professional education graduates.
“Hospitals, mostly nurses. Mostly nurses for nursing,” Darmawansyah said.
In addition to vacancies for nurses, hospitals are also absorbing National Internship participants for medical equipment maintenance. Not only hospitals are absorbing professional education graduates, the National Internship programme also opens opportunities for professional education graduates in education, accounting, engineering, and other professions.
