Minister Hayono joins fun walk

JAKARTA (JP): Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Hayono
Isman and thousands of members of the Indonesian Heart Foundation
joined together in a fun walk along Jl. Jendral Sudirman,
Jakarta, yesterday morning.

The five-kilometer walk, sponsored by Meadow Lea, a margarine
and cooking oil producer, started at the Senayan Sports Complex
and headed through Jl. Jendral Sudirman and Semanggi cloverleaf,
covering a distance of five kilometers.

A press release from the firm boastfully said that the number
of participants totaled 25,000 people, dubbed as the largest fun
walk in the country.

The participants were mostly members of the foundation from
Jakarta. Few members from West and Central Java were also
invited.

Yesterday's fun walk was the fourth venue sponsored annually
by Meadow Lea since 1994. (09)
