Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi has affirmed that the handling of zero over-dimension over-loading (ODOL) vehicles is carried out from upstream to downstream through cross-sector collaboration, comprehensive supervision, and technology-based law enforcement.

“ODOL handling must be done from upstream to downstream, starting from compliance with vehicle dimensions, the goods loading process, the responsibility of transport companies and cargo owners, road supervision, to law enforcement,” said the Minister in Jakarta on Monday.

He made the statement at the launch of the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement Hub (ETLE Hub) system as a modern and integrated system for the supervision and law enforcement of freight transport vehicles.

He invited all stakeholders to strengthen collaboration in order to realise the target of zero ODOL vehicles by 2027.

According to him, transport companies, vehicle owners, cargo owners, and various related parties have the responsibility to ensure that vehicles operate in accordance with the applicable dimension and load provisions.

“I invite ministries, institutions, regional governments, toll road operators, logistics business actors, cargo owners, transport companies, associations, and drivers to jointly support the implementation of this policy,” said Dudy.
