Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister for Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Rini Widyantini has stated that public services must continue to transform to become more adaptive and responsive to the needs of the community, supported by technology, commitment, and collaboration among all service providers.

As a concrete step, the Ministry of PANRB, together with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Indonesian Ombudsman, launched the National Public Service Movement (GNPP) as a form of collaboration, synergy, and commitment to improving public services.

“Through cross-sector synergy, the National Public Service Movement is expected to deliver real, measurable improvements in services that are directly felt by the public,” Rini said in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday.

This was conveyed during the launch of the GNPP at the Ministry of PANRB office in Jakarta on Friday (24/7). Under the GNPP, the Ministry of PANRB will continue to strengthen policy, guidance, and the monitoring and evaluation of public service quality improvements.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs will ensure the movement is implemented consistently across all regional governments. The Indonesian Ombudsman will oversee service quality through supervision, follow-up on complaints, and the use of public aspirations as a basis for improvement.

Rini revealed that the face of public service is not determined by grand buildings or advanced technology, but by the dedication of the apparatus who serve the public every day. She noted that public trust in the state is built through the hands of civil servants and all public service providers.

She further explained President Prabowo Subianto’s message that all public services should be transformed into digital services so that the public no longer needs to queue for hours. To this end, the Ministry of PANRB is currently promoting digital services together with the committee for accelerating digital government transformation.

“This transformation cannot be realised without commitment from all parties. That is why the GNPP is a joint movement to accelerate the realisation of public services that are easier, uphold integrity, and are oriented towards the community,” she said.

She added that the GNPP serves as a momentum to accelerate digital service transformation, with the symbol 24/7 representing the spirit of service that is always present, responsive, and sustainable in meeting the needs of the community.

“So that the public feels that we, the civil servants, the bureaucrats, or the President’s assistants, are truly ready to be present at any time to continuously serve the community,” Rini said.

The theme of the GNPP is ‘Sincere Service, Quick Response, and Integrity’. She stressed that this theme is not just a slogan but a commitment reflected in every policy, every service, and every action of state apparatus.

She explained that sincerity breeds care, speed ensures certainty, and integrity builds trust. Rini also asserted that the GNPP does not belong solely to the Ministry of PANRB, but is a joint movement of all public service providers. Its success is not measured by the number of activities held, but by the increasing number of people who experience better services.
