Tuban, East Java (ANTARA) - Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Minister Bahlil Lahadalia inaugurated the Mini LNG Plant of PT Sumber Aneka Gas in Tuban, East Java, to promote the utilisation of natural gas for the national economy. “Today we inaugurate the SAG plant, PT SAG. May God Almighty bless and safeguard this business,” said Bahlil during the inauguration of the PT Sumber Aneka Gas Mini LNG Plant in Tuban, East Java, on Thursday. The PT Sumber Aneka Gas (SAG) Mini LNG Plant is a gas processing facility that produces multiple energy products, including LNG, CNG, LPG, condensate, with plans for liquid CO2. The Mini LNG Plant project commenced in 2015 and is entering the commissioning or LNG operations phase in 2026. “I see this as a tangible achievement by a company to meet our domestic needs,” Bahlil stated. The LNG storage capacity is 1,600 cubic metres of cryogenic storage. The maximum production capacity of this mini LNG plant is equivalent to 55,300 tonnes per year. Production capacity for other types includes 9,800 tonnes per year of LPG, 19,600 barrels per year of gas condensate, and 21,000 tonnes per year of liquid CO2.
