Mini marathon

JAKARTA (JP): A five-kilometer mini marathon will be held on
Aug. 20 by Yayasan Pelita Ilmu, a foundation which deals with
AIDS problems.

The marathon, titled Indonesia in AIDS Awareness, will start
from Jalan Ageng Baris Raya in South Jakarta and finish in Tebet
Timur, South Jakarta. The organizer expects to draw as many as
500 participants.

The mini marathon will be followed by entertainment performed
by various bands of local teenagers and city officials.
Representatives from various AIDS awareness institutes are
expected to be present at the event.

The whole event will last from at 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. (07)
