MIND ID Group distributes 1,735 Qurban animals from Sumatra to Papua
MIND ID Group distributed 1,735 Qurban animals across Indonesia, from Sumatra to Papua, as part of the company’s commitment to engage with communities during Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah.
‘This year, 1,735 Qurban animals were distributed, comprising 825 cattle and 748 goats,’ said MIND ID Corporate Secretary Pria Utama in Jakarta on Wednesday.
He said the Qurban animals came from MIND ID and all its subsidiaries, including ANTAM, Bukit Asam, Freeport Indonesia, INALUM, Timah, and Vale Indonesia.
‘The distribution took place across 20 operational regions of MIND ID Group, from North Sumatra to Central Papua,’ said Pria.
This year’s Qurban distribution is not just an annual event but also a demonstration of the company’s responsibility to be present and share with the community during this meaningful occasion.
‘We hope the Qurban animals we distribute bring tangible benefits and prosperity to all communities within MIND ID Group’s operational areas,’ Pria added.
The distribution also involved local communities and micro and small businesses under the company’s mentorship, ensuring not only social impact but also strengthening the local economy.
Pria stressed that MIND ID staff actively participated alongside community members in the slaughter and distribution of Qurban meat.
Employee presence among the community is intended to strengthen relationships, build trust, and foster closer collaboration in the future.
Through this Qurban distribution programme, the company aims for communities to feel MIND ID Group’s direct presence on the ground. ‘We are not just a mining company pursuing economic gains but part of the community, close to the people and making tangible contributions to social life,’ Pria said.
