Military seizes more booze

SEMARANG, Central Java: In a joint raid, forces from the navy, police and military police on Tuesday confiscated over two truck loads of illegal high grade alcohol.

The raid occurred at a house in the Sinar Waluyo housing complex where a 40-year old women had been suspected of illegitimately distributing alcohol.

Second Lt. Sarmadi, who led the raid, said there were at least two more truck loads of alcohol at the house which have yet to be confiscated due to limited manpower.

The liquor seized was all from 70 to 86 proof with foreign brand names on it. (wah/07)
