Military Police gets new commander

JAKARTA: Col. Otte Ruchiyat was formally named as the
commander of the Military Police for the Jakarta Military Command
on Thursday, replacing Col. Daud Lallo, who had been in the post
for two years.

Lallo handed over the command to Ruchiyat in a ceremony
presided over by the Jakarta Military Commander Maj. Gen.
Agustadi Sasongko Purnomo.

Ruchiyat previously served as a member of the National
Resilience Institute (Lemhanas).

Meanwhile, Lallo is being transferred to serve as a staff
member at the Indonesian Military headquarters. -- JP
