On Thursday, 5 March 2026, dozens of personnel from Koops TNI Papua visited Iwaka Village, Iwaka District, Mimika Regency, Central Papua Province, to provide free medical services and distribute food aid packages to local residents.

The activity, which began early in the morning, was met with enthusiasm by the local community. In his remarks, Iwaka Village Head Elisius Awiyuta expressed appreciation and gratitude to Koops TNI for its concern for the community through free medical treatment and food assistance.

Brigadier General Ahmad Fikri Musmar, Commander of Koops TNI Papua, represented by Brigadier General Stefie Jantje Nuhujanan, Head of the Territorial Task Force of Koops TNI Papua, explained that the community service initiative was intended to help improve the health and welfare of communities in the Papua region. The activity also served to strengthen the relationship between the military and the community.
