Military Court Holds Sentencing Hearing for Three Defendants in State-Owned Bank Branch Manager Murder Case

The Military Court II-08 Jakarta is set to hold a follow-up hearing regarding the murder of Mohammad Ilham Pradipta, a branch manager of a state-owned bank (BUMN), with the agenda focusing on the reading of the prosecution’s demands on Monday (18/05/2026). The case involves three defendants: Serka Mochamad Nasir, Kopda Feri Herianto, and Serka Frengky Yaru.

“Yes, the agenda is the reading of the prosecution’s demands by the Military Prosecutor II-07 Jakarta,” said Major Chk Endah Wulandari, Spokesperson for the Military Court II-08 Jakarta, when confirmed via WhatsApp. However, the schedule was subject to adjustment as the panel of judges had other commitments, with the session planned to take place after the midday break.

Previously, the Jakarta Military Prosecutor’s Office indicted the three defendants for premeditated murder related to the death of Mohammad Ilham Pradipta. Military Prosecutor Major Chk Wasinton Marpaung stated that the defendants’ actions met the elements of criminal offences as regulated under Article 340 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the KUHP, as well as Article 459 of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code.

In addition to the primary charges, the prosecutor also presented alternative indictments involving the deprivation of liberty resulting in death, as well as charges related to Article 333 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 181 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with the relevant provisions of the new Criminal Code.
