MilikiRumah Appoints New CCO and Partners with APERSI, Leveraging AI to Ease Home Ownership Access
Entering its second year of operation in Indonesia, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based proptech company MilikiRumah has undertaken another major strategic move. In addition to strengthening its leadership by appointing a new CCO, MilikiRumah has also forged a strategic partnership with the Indonesian Housing and Settlement Developers Association (APERSI) to expand access to affordable housing nationwide. This expansion drive began with the appointment of Faizal Abdullah as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). With over two decades of experience in the proptech and property industry, including at PropertyGuru Group, Rumah123, and Rumah.com, Faizal is entrusted with leading the company’s commercial strategy, strengthening partnerships with developers and financial institutions, and accelerating business expansion nationally. MilikiRumah CEO and Co-Founder, Winston Lee, is optimistic that Faizal’s experience in building commercial organisations and generating growth makes him the right person to take MilikiRumah into its next phase. Since his arrival, Faizal has helped drive the company’s monthly revenue growth by up to 50 per cent, while strengthening the organisational foundation to support long-term expansion. “We have proven that our business model works. Our focus now is to scale the business through stronger commercial leadership, expand collaboration with developers and banks, and continue developing AI technology that helps more Indonesians own homes,” Faizal explained. MilikiRumah’s core strength lies in its innovative AI platform capable of performing precise consumer profiling. This technology helps developers analyse the financial readiness of prospective buyers while providing recommendations for the most suitable financing schemes, thereby significantly increasing the success rate of transactions through to the credit agreement process. MilikiRumah’s expansion was further reinforced by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with APERSI, which represents more than 3,100 housing developers in Indonesia. The General Chairman of DPP APERSI, Deddy Indrasetiawan, welcomed this collaboration to help association members utilise AI technology in understanding buyer profiles, accelerating the sales process, and recovering potential revenue. Winston noted that APERSI plays a crucial role in expanding affordable housing in Indonesia. “Through this partnership, we want to help APERSI members reach the right buyers with a faster and more measurable process,” Winston added. MilikiRumah’s technology solution also offers a fresh approach to tackling Indonesia’s high housing backlog. The AI platform paves the way for people who often face obstacles with conventional bank financing, including informal sector workers and prospective buyers with limited credit history. With a track record of serving over 200 housing projects, MilikiRumah is optimistic about continuing to expand its platform capabilities to realise a more inclusive and efficient home ownership ecosystem in the country.
