A Mikrotrans bus on route JAK 03 suffered a single-vehicle accident on Jalan Raya Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, with the bus overturning on the roadside.

From video footage circulated on Selasa (10 March 2026), the overturned Mikrotrans bus was visible on the road’s edge, with several passengers seen standing and attempting to climb out through the doorway. The incident also caused traffic congestion in the area.

Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at PT Transportasi Jakarta, confirmed the incident. She stated that the incident occurred on Tuesday (10 March) at approximately 11.24 WIB.

“Transjakarta confirms that the photograph shows a Mikrotrans bus on route JAK 03, which suffered a single-vehicle incident on Jl Raya Lebak Bulus on Tuesday (10 March) at 11.24 WIB,” Ayu said when contacted on Tuesday (10 March).

Ayu explained that at the time of the incident, there were seven passengers on board the bus. Four of them immediately continued their journey after the incident occurred, whilst the three others received treatment at the nearest hospital and have since been discharged.

“Of the seven passengers on board the bus, four continued their journey immediately. The three other passengers received treatment at the nearest hospital and have been discharged, with their condition being good,” she explained.

Transjakarta staff have handled the incident scene and are still conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Transjakarta has also issued an apology for the incident.
