In commemoration of World Environment Day 2026, PT Mifa Bersaudara and PT Bara Energi Lestari (BEL) will hold a Talk Show and Plogging Warrior event titled ‘Aksi Bakti untuk Bumi’ (Earth Service Action) in the Batu Putih area, West Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, on Saturday (27/6). The environmental campaign by the two subsidiaries of PT Media Djaya Bersama (MDB) is collaborating with the Pandawara Group, a group of young people from Bandung, West Java, and involves local communities, students, organisations, government agencies, companies, and various local partners. Division Head Environment of PT Mifa Bersaudara, Aswan Dewangga, stated that the series of activities is expected to serve as a platform for collaboration among various parties, primarily to increase environmental awareness through diverse actions. “The ‘Aksi Bakti untuk Bumi’ features various activities, including the installation of signs urging people not to litter and a water channel clean-up action in West Aceh,” said Aswan Dewangga. He added that the presence of the five Pandawara Group members—Raffi, Agung, Gilang, Ihsan, and Rifki—is expected to reinforce the important message that maintaining waterways, public spaces, and the surrounding environment must begin with the active participation of all parties. “Protecting the environment must start with real participation from all elements of society,” Aswan Dewangga remarked. The activity is planned to involve around 1,600 participants, aiming to create a collective movement that has an impact on the environment in West Aceh. The Talk Show and Plogging Warrior also serve as a collaborative space between the West Aceh Regency Government and several companies operating in the area to promote sustainable environmental awareness. This significant event received strong support from the West Aceh Regency Government, PT Antareja Mahada Makmur, Tata Bara Utama, Tirta Nuasa Buana and Stevedoring Tirta Nusa, and Parama Energi, as well as PT Geoservices, Mesa, Cipta Kridatama, PT Jakarta Prima Cranes, PT Sentratek Adiprestasi, Tirta Bara Nusantara, PT Mufid Inti Global, and Greenchem. Earlier, as part of the World Environment Day 2026 commemoration, Mifa-BEL also held a ceremony, a costume parade made from waste materials, and a tree-planting greening action.
