Pamekasan Resort Police in East Java are hunting a man with the initials M (56), the owner of a house whose rear section is allegedly used frequently for the transaction and consumption of methamphetamine.

Head of Public Relations for Pamekasan Police, Ipda Yoni Evan Pratama, stated that the police will place M on the most wanted list (DPO) after he fled during a raid conducted by officers.

“The suspect, M, will be designated as a person on the most wanted list. The operational team of the Pameksson Narcotics Unit is continuing field pursuits and developing the distribution network connected to this location,” he said in Pamekasan on Friday (2/10/2026).

The raid was carried out by the Pamekasan Police Narcotics Unit, involving personnel from the East Java Regional Police Brimob unit, in Jenglateh Timur Hamlet, Campor Village, Proppo District, Pamekasan Regency, on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, at approximately 09:30 WIB.

The operation began following community reports regarding suspected methamphetamine transaction and consumption activities at the location. Residents also reported the existence of a special booth at the back of the house allegedly used for consuming narcotics.

Based on this information, police conducted investigations and surveillance before raiding the location. When officers ambushed the rear booth of the house, M and several other individuals believed to be at the location managed to escape.

Although M was not successfully apprehended, police seized several pieces of evidence from various points at the scene. In a booth at the rear of the house, police found one small plastic clip containing white crystalline powder suspected to be methamphetamine, weighing approximately 0.27 grams.

Officers also discovered five sets of methamphetamine smoking tools, glass pipettes containing residue suspected to be methamphetamine, 11 empty plastic clips, 10 gas lighters, and one pack of cigarettes. From another booth, officers found four sets of smoking tools, one device suspected of being used to burn methamphetamine, and a wooden box.

Police also seized two mobile phones, one sickle, one knife, three keris (traditional daggers), and nine motorcycles found around the location.

“All evidence is currently held at the Pamekasan Police Headquarters, while the methamphetamine evidence has been sent to the East Java Regional Police for laboratory testing,” said Evan.
