Microsoft Revenue Rises 18 Percent in Q4

San Francisco (ANTARA) - Microsoft on Wednesday (29/7) reported revenue of $90 billion for the fourth quarter (Q4) of its fiscal year 2026, which ended on 30 June, an 18 percent increase compared to the same period the previous year. The company posted a quarterly net profit of $35.8 billion, up 31 percent year-on-year (yoy) based on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Diluted earnings per share rose 32 percent to $4.81. Microsoft’s operating profit increased 18 percent yoy to $40.6 billion. Excluding the impact of investments in OpenAI, quarterly net profit reached $35.3 billion, an increase of 22 percent, while diluted earnings per share rose 23 percent to $4.74. For the full fiscal year 2026, Microsoft reported revenue of $331.8 billion, an 18 percent increase compared to the previous fiscal year. Its GAAP operating profit rose 21 percent to $155.2 billion, while GAAP net profit increased 31 percent to $133.7 billion. “We continue to push the boundaries on cost-to-outcome, ensuring every customer can turn tokens into business results,” said Satya Nadella, chairman and CEO of Microsoft. “This year, Azure revenue surpassed $100 billion for the first time, and Microsoft 365 Copilot reached over 30 million paid users, reflecting the trust customers place in us to support their AI transformation,” Nadella said.
