Microsoft launches new servers

Software producer PT Microsoft Indonesia launched last week three new servers for business enterprises: the SQL 2005, Visual Studio 2005 and Biztalk 2006.

The servers, with a price range of between US$2,999 and $7,213, have recently been test-tried by local enterprises, such as PT Charoen Pokphan Indonesia, PT Asuransi Astra Buana, PT Allianz Utama Indonesia, PT Bintang Toedjoe and PT Tunas Ridean.

"The products have proven value-added economic benefits for companies. We offer special price for small and medium enterprises," Microsoft Indonesia president Tony Chen said.

The servers are supported by processors from PT Intel Indonesia Corporation and hardware products from PT Hewlett- Packard Indonesia.
