Jakarta, VIVA – Michael Saylor’s company, Strategy, has once again increased its Bitcoin holdings with a massive purchase. The company, which holds the largest Bitcoin ownership in the world, bought 13,927 BTC in the past week.

According to Yahoo Finance, the total value of the purchase amounts to around US$1 billion or approximately Rp17.13 trillion (estimated exchange rate of Rp17,130 per US dollar). The company with the ticker MSTR, listed on the Nasdaq exchange, purchased these Bitcoins at an average price of US$71,902 or about Rp1.23 billion per coin.

The entire Bitcoin purchase was not funded using the company’s internal cash. Strategy fully financed the transaction through the issuance of preferred shares named Stretch (STRC).

This instrument is a preferred share with a variable yield scheme designed to provide high monthly income. Currently, Stretch offers dividends of around 11.5% per year, with the share price maintained stably at around US$100.

This latest purchase brings Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings to 780,897 BTC. Overall, the company has invested around US$59.02 billion at an average acquisition price of US$75,577 per Bitcoin.

According to CoinMarketCap as of 5:39 PM WIB on Tuesday, 14 April 2026, Bitcoin was trading at US$74,608.14, up 5.45% in the last 24 hours.

Since this digital gold asset has been below its all-time high of US$126,000 reached in October 2026, Saylor has routinely collected Bitcoins over the last six months. This action reflects the company’s long-term confidence in Bitcoin’s prospects as a strategic asset.

On one hand, the scooping action impacts the company’s stock performance. MSTR shares have fallen around 59% in the last 12 months and are now trading at US$128.64 per share.
