MG Prepares Special Aftersales Service Programme for Customers Ahead of Lebaran Mudik Season
Welcoming the momentum of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026, Morris Garages (MG) Motor Indonesia has launched a special aftersales service programme titled SMILE 2026 (MG Smiles on Lebaran Day). The programme is designed to ensure every MG vehicle is in optimal condition, so customers can undertake their mudik journey with greater safety and comfort alongside their families.
Through SMILE 2026, MG reaffirms its commitment to continue supporting customer mobility, particularly during the mudik period, which is one of the largest travel moments in Indonesia. Support from MG’s official dealer network and technicians on standby during the Lebaran holiday season is provided to deliver responsive service to customers.
As part of the programme, MG offers free vehicle inspection with 60 checkpoints covering various important vehicle components, ranging from the engine system and fuel system, electrical system, brake system, transmission system, to the AC system, as well as other supporting systems. This inspection helps customers ensure their vehicle’s condition remains optimal before undertaking long-distance travel.
The service programme runs from 9 to 27 March 2026 and is available across MG’s official dealer network throughout Indonesia. Customers who undergo vehicle inspection will also receive an exclusive MG souvenir, whilst stocks remain available.
In addition to the vehicle inspection service, MG also presents special discount offers for genuine MG accessories of up to 50%, giving customers the opportunity to equip their vehicles with official accessories designed to support a comfortable and safe driving experience.
To provide peace of mind during the Lebaran holiday period, MG has also prepared standby dealers and technicians during the mudik period, specifically from 18 to 25 March 2026. Through this service, customers can still obtain technical support if they require assistance during their journey. This service can also be accessed by customers by contacting MG CARE at 0800-1-880-990.
“Through the SMILE 2026 programme, we want to ensure every MG user can undertake their mudik journey with a sense of safety and comfort alongside their families. Comprehensive aftersales service support and the readiness of our dealer network form part of MG’s commitment to continue delivering the best service to every MG customer in Indonesia,” said After Sales Manager of MG Motor Indonesia, Arie Bowo.
In line with the growth of users in Indonesia, MG continues to expand its official dealer network as part of efforts to make services increasingly accessible to customers in various regions. Strengthening this network is an important step in ensuring the experience of MG vehicle ownership becomes increasingly optimal, both in terms of product and aftersales service.
MG invites all users to take advantage of the SMILE 2026 programme by visiting the nearest MG official dealer and conducting vehicle inspection before undertaking the mudik journey with family. Further information is also available through MG’s official dealer network throughout Indonesia and the mgmotor.id website.
