MG Offers Special Price for MGS5 EV Magnify Max Until September 2026, Priced at Rp399.9 Million

MG Motor Indonesia has announced a special price of Rp399.9 million on the road (OTR) Jakarta for the highest variant of the MGS5 EV Magnify Max. The price applies until September 2026 as part of the company’s programme entering the second half of the year.

In addition to introducing the new price, MG also outlined its strategy for developing its sales and after-sales service network in Indonesia. The step was taken after the MGS5 EV recorded around 2,000 vehicle purchase orders (SPK) since its launch.

Previously, the MGS5 EV Magnify Max was marketed at an official price of Rp410.9 million OTR Greater Jakarta. With this latest programme, consumers receive a price cut of around Rp11 million throughout the promotion period.

CEO of MG Motor Indonesia, Jason Huang, said the programme is a form of appreciation to consumers as well as an effort to broaden access to MG electric vehicles.

The Magnify Max variant uses a 62 kWh battery producing a maximum output of 204 PS and 350 Nm of torque. Based on NEDC testing, the vehicle has a range of up to 545 kilometres on a single charge.

MG is also maintaining promotional prices for two other MGS5 EV variants. The Ignite variant is marketed at Rp333.9 million, while the Magnify is priced at Rp355.9 million, both OTR Jakarta.
