Mexican, traditional food on offer

YOGYAKARTA: Celebrating Indonesia's Independence Day, which
falls on Aug. 17, 2003, Yogyakarta Melia Purosani hotel's El
Patio coffee shop is offering a range of traditional food from
five different regions of Java during the month.

Entitled "The Exotic Five Regions of Java Island", the special
promotion offers delicious traditional culinary fare from
Central Java, Jakarta, West Java, Yogyakarta and East Java.

"The promo is available for the whole month," said Endah
Sosiawanti, Melia Purosani public relations manager.

Meanwhile, Jogjakarta Plaza Hotel, a Prime Plaza chain hotel,
is offering Mexican food at its Colombo pool terrace from Aug. 9
to Aug. 17, 2003, with net prices ranging from Rp 15,000 to Rp
32,000.

The food on offer includes nachos, tacos Mexicanos, enchildas
de pollo apiladas, sopa de moriscos, chili con carne, ensalada de
nache buena, sopa de tortilla and carne de res en salsa de
