Meulaboh (ANTARA) - Officers from the Class II Non Immigration Checkpoint Office in Meulaboh, Aceh Barat, secured a foreign national (WNA) of Malaysian nationality during the Wirawaspada Operation in the local area. “The foreign national secured is initialled MLT, Malaysian national, aged 62 years,” said the Head of the Class II Non TPI Meulaboh Immigration Office, Nicky Avry Muchelly, to ANTARA in Meulaboh on Tuesday. He stated that the foreign national was previously secured at a location in Babahrot Subdistrict, Aceh Barat Daya Regency, Aceh Province. Nicky said that the foreign national violated his residence permit in Indonesia because he had stayed in Indonesia beyond the specified time limit. “He overstayed for 237 days,” said Nicky, adding. The Wirawaspada Operation was carried out to increase immigration supervision and maintain stability in security and public order, particularly regarding the presence and activities of foreigners in the working area of the Class II Non TPI Meulaboh Immigration Office, which covers Aceh Barat Regency, Aceh Barat Daya Regency, and Nagan Raya Regency. In its implementation, the supervision activities were carried out professionally and humanely while upholding the principles of law and humanity.
