Metro Police Summon Aiman Witjaksono in Jokowi's Diploma Case

Police are still delving into the case of allegations regarding the fake diploma of Indonesia’s seventh President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The latest development is that the police have summoned Aiman Witjaksono as a witness. “Today, Aiman is scheduled to be examined at the Subdit Kamneg Ditreskrimum regarding the diploma case,” stated the Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Budi Hermanto, when asked for confirmation on Thursday (2/4/2026). Aiman is scheduled to undergo examination at 1:00 PM Western Indonesia Time. Aiman is said to have stated his readiness to appear as a witness. “Scheduled at 1:00 PM Western Indonesia Time, and the latest confirmation is that Aiman will appear as a witness,” he added. For information, Metro Jaya Police have designated a total of eight people as suspects, one of whom is former Minister of Youth and Sports Roy Suryo. The police continue to pursue this case and conduct a special case review. In its developments, Eggi Sudjana and Damai Hari Lubis have submitted a request for restorative justice to the police. The police then followed up on the request, ultimately halting their case. Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar also submitted the same request.
