The Narcotics Directorate of Metro Jaya Police (Polda Metro Jaya) conducted a raid on a house in Nusa Dua Citra Garden Complex, Jatikarya, Jatisampurna District, Bekasi City, West Java, following intelligence that the premises was being used as a drug party venue.

The operation was carried out by the Operational Team of Unit 1, Subdivision 3 of the Narcotics Directorate of Metro Jaya Police on Wednesday, 4 March 2026 at approximately 12.00 WIB. Seven suspects—five men and two women—were apprehended. The detainees are identified as AS, FA, AY, RR, MH, S, and ML.

Officers recovered narcotics evidence including 5.48 grams of ecstasy, 18.35 grams of methamphetamine, and approximately 5 grams of cannabis. The illicit substances were believed to have been used during the drug party.

AKP Ari Purwanto, Head of Unit 1, Subdivision 3 of the Narcotics Directorate of Metro Jaya Police, disclosed that one of the seven detainees, AS, is a fugitive wanted in connection with a 2,000-tablet ecstasy case. “On Wednesday, 4 March 2026 at approximately 12.00 WIB, we apprehended the fugitive in the ecstasy case involving 2,000 tablets, the aforementioned AS,” Ari told reporters on Monday, 9 March 2026.

The raid stemmed from information received by officers that the house was frequently being used for drug abuse. The team subsequently conducted investigation and surveillance in the surrounding area until confirming the presence of the suspects inside the residence. “They were suspected to be consuming narcotics at the residential complex,” he explained.

Purwanto urged the public to join forces in the prevention and eradication of narcotics. The seven suspects have been brought to the Narcotics Directorate of Metro Jaya Police for further questioning. “Let us work together to eradicate drugs through early prevention, maintain our environment, and save young people from the dangers of narcotics. Let us together keep Jakarta drug-free, thank you,” he concluded.
