Metro Police Deploy 4,500 Personnel to Secure Easter Worship Services

JAKARTA - As many as 4,500 personnel from Polda Metro Jaya have been deployed to secure the series of Easter worship services in 2026, on Friday (3/4/2026). The Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Senior Commissioner Pol Budi Hermanto, stated that thousands of personnel will be stationed at several churches and crowded points during the weekend. Security is being carried out in layers, starting from area sterilisation, traffic regulation, to routine patrols around churches. On that occasion, Budi also urged the public to immediately report via the 110 service if they find any events or incidents that could potentially disrupt the worship services.
