Metro Police Chief Emphasises Humanism at Brimob Roll Call: Do Not Hurt the People's Hearts

Metro Jaya Police Chief Irjen Asep Edi Suheri led the roll call for the Brimob Unit of Polda Metro Jaya. He emphasised humanistic service without hurting the hearts of the people. The roll call was held at the Precision Field of Polda Metro Jaya on Monday (20/4/2026) and was attended by 2,098 Brimob personnel from Polda Metro Jaya. The event was conducted to check the readiness of personnel in facing upcoming duties. In his address, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri expressed appreciation for the spirit and readiness of all personnel. He affirmed that the readiness of members is not only shown through the strength of the force but also through discipline, composure, and responsibility in carrying out duties. The Police Chief stated that Brimob personnel must be able to carry out tasks professionally, measurably, and accountably. According to him, every task execution must be done with full responsibility while still prioritising a humanistic attitude towards the community. The two-star general also emphasised to the newly appointed Brimob personnel to quickly adapt to the dynamics of duties in the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya. He reminded that the honour as a member of the Indonesian National Police must be reflected in disciplined attitudes, loyalty, and responsibility. “The honour that you bear must be embodied in every task execution. Be personnel who are disciplined, loyal, and able to maintain the good name of the institution,” he stated. Furthermore, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri asked all personnel to maintain readiness, safety, and unity in carrying out duties. He emphasised the importance of providing good service and giving a sense of security to the community. “Never hurt the hearts of the community. Display Brimob that is firm without arrogance, ready to act with full control, and always present to provide a sense of security,” he asserted. As the closing of the address, the Metro Jaya Police Chief provided motivation through the Brimob service slogan to strengthen the spirit of unity. “Display Brimob that is firm without arrogance, ready to act with full control. Remember our motto: Once You Step Forward, Never Give Up, Once You Appear, You Must Succeed. Brimob for Humanity,” asserted the Metro Jaya Police Chief.
