Metro Police Chief Asep Edi Suheri Promoted to Three-Star Rank

The position of Metro Jaya Police Chief was previously held by high-ranking Polri officers with the rank of inspektur jenderal (irjen) or two-star general. The top leadership at Metro Jaya Police remains under Komjen Asep Edi Suheri. He has served as Metro Jaya Police Chief since his inauguration by National Police Chief Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo on Tuesday (19/8/2025). Komjen Asep Edi has nearly served 10 months as Metro Jaya Police Chief. He replaced Irjen Karyoto in the position.
