The three suspects, identified as M along with his girlfriend H, were arrested at a boarding house in West Jakarta. EL was apprehended at an apartment in South Tangerang. The suspects served as talents or hosts performing pornographic acts on the Hot51 live streaming application while promoting gambling content. “The suspects are known to act as talents or hosts engaging in pornography to promote online gambling content through that platform,” stated the caption on Instagram @resmob_pmj, viewed on Saturday (2/5/2026). Within less than a week, the perpetrators earned up to Rp 25 million in profits. Meanwhile, the application’s monthly turnover reaches Rp 5 billion. “The profits generated are enormous, with the application’s turnover reaching Rp 5 billion per month, while the talents can earn up to Rp 25 million in just five days,” he said. The perpetrators exploited users’ psychological conditions by combining paid adult content with a gambling system, making users addicted. Users were encouraged to keep making deposits, whether after winning or losing, ultimately resulting in significant losses. “This manipulative scheme exploits users’ psychological conditions by utilising the gambling cycle to drain their assets through paid adult content and repeated deposit systems. Whether winning or losing, users are deliberately trapped in an addictive ecosystem designed specifically to make them continuously top up their balances until all their assets are depleted,” he stated. Police have seized several pieces of evidence, including lingerie clothing, adult aids (vibrator, dildo, live machine gun), several mobile phones, and several bank accounts. For their actions, the suspects are charged under Article 407 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 426 of Law No. 1 of 2023, as well as Article 27 Paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 45 Paragraph (3) of the ITE Law No. 1 of 2024, related to criminal acts of indecency, online gambling, and money laundering, with a potential prison sentence of 10 years.
