Metro Jaya Police to Strengthen Human Resources Development Through Collaboration With Universities
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Metro Jaya Police, through the Human Resources Bureau (HR), is strengthening the development of capacity and the quality of the Indonesian National Police’s human resources by forging synergy with four universities. The head of the Metro Jaya Police’s HR Bureau, Kombes Pol Dwita Kumu Wardana, said collaboration with higher education institutions is a strategic step in supporting the improvement of Polri’s human resources that are professional and of integrity. “Through this cooperation, we hope to strengthen the synergy between the Metro Jaya Police and higher education institutions in the fields of education, research, as well as the development of personnel competencies,” Dwita said in a Jakarta statement on Friday. He named the four universities as Universitas Borobudur, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta, Universitas Krisnadwipayana, and Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya. “This cooperation is focused on strengthening education, research, and the development of Polri personnel competencies,” he said. According to him, support from the academic community is expected to contribute positively to increasing the capacity and capability of Polri personnel. “In order to be increasingly adaptive to changing times and the challenges of future tasks, so that they can provide services that are more optimal to the public,” he added. The signing of the cooperation agreement between the Metro Jaya Police and the four universities in Jakarta was held at the Satya Prabu Hall, 2nd Floor, the HR Bureau Building of the Metro Jaya Police, Jakarta. The signing ceremony was led by Head of the HR Bureau, Kombes Pol Dwita Kumu Wardana, and attended by the HR Sub-division heads of the Polres under Polda Metro Jaya.
