Metro Jaya Police to Exhume Body of Man Found Dead Outside South Jakarta Beauty Clinic
Polda Metro Jaya has announced plans to exhume the body of Sutrimo, a man found dead in front of the Mordent beauty clinic in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The exhumation is scheduled for Wednesday, 12 August 2026, in Banyumas.
“We have received the transfer of the police report from the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division, as well as the report from the Banyumas Police,” said Polda Metro Jaya’s Director of General Criminal Investigation, Senior Commissioner Iman Imanuddin, on Monday (10/8/2026).
The case has now been officially taken over by Polda Metro Jaya. Iman stated that the exhumation is a crucial step in the investigation. “Based on the investigation results already conducted by the Banyumas Police and the Polda Metro Jaya Criminal Investigation team, we have elevated the case to the inquiry stage. God willing, on Wednesday, we will carry out the exhumation in Banyumas,” he explained.
“Hopefully, from the exhumation results, we can find and conclude the cause of death of the individual concerned,” Iman added.
Previously, police revealed progress in the investigation into the death of Sutrimo, who was found in front of the Mordent clinic. Polda Metro Jaya will coordinate with the Central Java Regional Police for the exhumation process. “Polda Metro Jaya will coordinate with the Central Java Police,” said Polda Metro Jaya’s Head of Public Relations, Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto.
Budi also mentioned that his party would prepare an exhumation team soon, although he could not confirm the exact timing at that point. “Including preparing a team for the exhumation in the near future,” he said.
Sutrimo was found unconscious on Thursday (23/7/2026). He was subsequently taken by ambulance to Muhammadiyah Taman Puring Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. According to circulating information, the victim was found with foam at the mouth. He was reportedly the Head of Household for former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah. However, the police are still conducting further investigations regarding the victim’s identity and background.
