Metro Jaya Police to Announce Results of Sutrimo Exhumation Tomorrow

Forensic expert teams have completed the exhumation of Sutrim_rimo’s remains. The Metro Jaya Regional Police stated that the results of the exhumation will be announced tomorrow.

“It has been communicated that a press conference is planned for tomorrow,” said the Head of Public Relations for Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Budi Hermanto, in the Gelora Bung Karno area, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (29/09/2026).

The press conference, scheduled for Wednesday (30/09), will also be attended by Sutrimo’s family. Budi noted that an invitation has been extended to the family members.

“The family has been invited. We will await the results together,” he said.

As previously reported, the Metro Jaya Police, alongside a team of forensic doctors, performed the exhumation of Sutrimo’s remains in Wlahar Village, Wangon District, Banyumas Regency, on Wednesday (12/08). The exhumation process lasted approximately 3.5 hours, from 09:30 to 13:00 WIB.

Forensic doctors addressed reports regarding Sutrimo’s condition at the time of death, specifically the presence of foam at his mouth and nose. Police also conducted swabs on the remains during the exhumation process.

“The information we received indicated that Sutrimo’s body exhibited foam from the nose and mouth at the time of death. However, during the exhumation, none was present,” explained the Head of the Forensic Doctor Team, Prof. Yudi, during a press conference on Wednesday (12/08).

“However, we attempted to perform laboratory separation by taking swabs to see if any traces of the substance remained,” he added.

Sutrimo was found unconscious on Thursday (23/07). The victim was subsequently transported by ambulance to Muhammadiyah Taman Puring Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
