The Metro Jaya Police State School (SPN) held a Land Expedition for its 2026 Police NCO Formation Education Students. The activity aims to create Bhayangkara officers who are not only strong but also humanist and beloved by the community. “This physical training is to shape the students’ character, and we are moulding Bhayangkara officers who are not only strong in the field but also loved by the community,” said Metro Jaya Police SPN Head, Senior Commissioner Arif Fazlurrahman, during the event’s launch on Saturday (9/8/2026). The activity concluded with a student inspection and final material consolidation by the duty officer. It also aims to realise the SPN Metro Jaya campus as a centre of excellence towards a Precise Police force, ensuring proper physical training, mental-spiritual guidance, mental ideology, fighting spirit, personal character, and leadership mentality, as well as bringing students closer to the community around the SPN Metro Jaya campus. The route covered included: First Stage, approximately 3.5 km from SPN Metro Jaya to Gunung Bongkok, SD Gunung Bongkok (water station), tea plantation, coffee plantation, Kancah Nangkup, and the sand quarry in Sungapan Village. Second Stage, approximately 3.5 km from the Sungapan sand quarry to the water tank (water station), Gang Jamur, Srogol Village Hall, Tribrata Field, SPN swimming pool, H. Zein junction, SPN Cooperative, and back to SPN Metro Jaya. Arif stated the route comprised asphalt, concrete, dirt, and footpaths, passing through villages, plantations, and crossing bridges. He noted the total distance was about 7 km, divided into 13 supervision posts. “It is hoped that after participating in this land expedition, the students will be ready to become precise and humanist members of the Indonesian National Police,” he said.
