Metro Jaya Police Sign Cooperation with Four Universities to Strengthen HR Competencies
Metro Jaya Police continued its efforts to enhance human resources (HR). This was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement with four universities. The signing ceremony took place on Thursday, 5 March 2026, in the Satya Prabu Hall on the second floor of Building B of the HR Bureau, Polda Metro Jaya. It was conducted directly by the Head of HR Bureau of the Metro Jaya Police, Senior Commissioner Dwita Kumu Wardana, and attended by the Heads of HR Subdivisions of the Police Resorts under the Metro Jaya Police.
The four universities collaborating with the Polda Metro are Universitas Borobudur, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), Universitas Krisnadwipayana, and Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya.
‘Through this cooperation, we hope to strengthen the synergy between the Metro Jaya Police and higher education institutions in education, research, and the development of personnel competencies,’ said Dwita Kumu Wardana in a statement.
He said the cooperation is expected to contribute positively. He believes that through this cooperation, Metro Jaya personnel will be more adaptive in carrying out their duties in the future.
‘Support from the academic community is expected to provide a positive contribution in improving the capacity and capability of Polri personnel,’ he said.
‘To be increasingly adaptive to the changing times and the challenges of future tasks, thus able to provide more optimal service to the public,’ he concluded.
