The delivery of labour aspirations in the DPR/MPR RI area, Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (29/9), proceeded in an orderly manner. After representatives participated in an audience with the leadership of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) and conveyed the results of the meeting to the protesters, the crowd gradually left the location.

The activity, involving the Great Coalition of Indonesian Labour Struggle (KBPBI) alongside various labour and worker elements, included a dialogue between 37 labour representatives and the Deputy Chairmen of the DPR RI, Saan Mustopa and Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal.

The audience took place in the Abdul Muis Room, Nusantara Building, from 13:27 WIB to 14:27 WIB. During the meeting, labour representatives presented various aspirations regarding labour issues.

Once the audience concluded, representatives returned to the protesters to communicate the results of the dialogue. The crowd then left the DPR/MPR RI area gradually and in an orderly fashion.

Metro Jaya Police personnel continued to provide services and security around the location, including situational traffic management to ensure the smooth flow of public activities.

The Head of Public Relations for Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol. Budi Hermanto, expressed appreciation to all participants for using the space for expressing opinions peacefully and responsibly.

“We appreciate all participants who expressed their aspirations in an orderly and peaceful manner. After the representatives dialogued with the DPR and conveyed the results of the audience, the participants gradually left the area in an orderly fashion,” said Kombes Budi in a written statement on Monday (29/9/2026).

According to him, the orderly expression of opinion demonstrates that democratic space can function alongside the interests of the wider community.

“Thank you to all participants, field coordinators, and the public who worked together to maintain order. We hope this spirit of mutual respect continues, so that the expression of aspirations can take place safely, peacefully, and while still respecting other community activities,” he concluded.
