Metro Jaya Police Chief Leads TFG Sispamkota, Emphasises Readiness to Secure Jakarta
Metro Jaya Police Chief Irjen Asep Edi Suheri led the Tactical Floor Game (TFG) for urban security (Sispamkota) regarding preparations for the ‘Rencana Kontijensi Aman Nusa 1-2026’. This activity serves as an affirmation of the Metro Jaya Police’s efforts to safeguard Jakarta.
The TFG Sispamkota event was held at Balai Sarbini, Semanggi, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (8/4/2026). Attendees included Deputy Police Chief of Metro Jaya Brigjen Pol Dekananto Eko Purwono, senior officials from the Metro Jaya Police, and district police chiefs.
In his briefing, the Metro Jaya Police Chief stated that the TFG Sispamkota is part of exercises to improve the capabilities of National Police personnel as a cycle in career development.
“This TFG is part of training to enhance the capabilities of National Police personnel as a career development cycle. Therefore, it must be carried out seriously and understood comprehensively,” said Irjen Asep Edi Suheri.
He emphasised that the exercise is not merely a formality but must be understood as a depiction of real field situations. All personnel are expected to understand field tasks as well as the actions to be taken in contingency situations.
“This training is not just a formality, but must be understood as a real condition that could occur in the field. The main goal is to keep Jakarta in a safe, comfortable, and controlled condition,” he stated.
Through the Tactical Floor Game (TFG), all personnel are trained to have a uniform approach to responding to potential public order and security disruptions.
“We want to ensure that every potential disruption can be anticipated early, so the situation remains safe, comfortable, and under control,” he explained.
The Police Chief also stressed the importance of synergy and firmness in carrying out duties. This TFG is part of the Metro Jaya Police’s efforts to ensure personnel readiness in maintaining security stability in the Jakarta region.
“The key to success lies in synergy and shared perception. There must be no hesitation in acting; everything must follow SOP,” he asserted.
He added that the presence of the National Police among the community is paramount in providing a sense of security. “The National Police must be present to provide safety and comfort, so the public feels protected by the state,” he further remarked.
