Methamphetamine and Ecstasy Home Industry Raided in Lampung, Police Arrest 10 People Across 5 Locations

The Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Lampung Regional Police has uncovered a home industry manufacturing methamphetamine and ecstasy pills in the Rajawoli Resident Candi Mas complex, Natar District, South Lampung.

The disclosure of the case was carried out by Sub-unit II of the Lampung Regional Police Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate on Thursday, 27 August 2026. During raids conducted at five interconnected crime scenes, police detained several individuals and seized narcotics alongside production equipment.

Deputy Head of Sub-unit II of the Lampung Regional Police Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate, Assistant Commissioner Wahyudi Sabhara, stated that the case was revealed after the force received information from the public regarding several rented houses in the area suspected of being frequently used for narcotics abuse.

“Our team immediately conducted observations and surveillance following the community information. At approximately 12:00 WIB, we approached the residence of Eka Pradinasta, 33, an entrepreneur, in the Rajawali Resident Candi Mas rental property and secured him,” he said, as reported on Sunday, 30 August 2026.

During the search of Eka Pradinasta’s rental property, police discovered several pieces of evidence. These included a methamphetamine smoking apparatus with a glass pipe, a black digital scale, two small clip plastic bags containing green powder, 25 purple ecstasy pills, 27 grey ‘inex’ pills, and one Android mobile phone.

Police then expanded their investigation, leading them to a man named Andika Sandi, 37. This follow-up operation took place at a second crime scene within the same area.

“At the second crime scene, we detained AS and a woman with the initials YDS, 29,” he said.

From Andika Sandi’s possession, police found further evidence, including a methamphetamine smoking apparatus, one packet of blue powder, two blue ecstasy pills, half a grey ecstasy pill, one small clip plastic bag containing methamphetamine, a set of ecstasy pill pressing equipment, and three Android mobile phones.

Police suspect that Andika Sandi plays a role in the production process of the ecstasy pills.

“It was discovered that AS was involved in pressing a number of ecstasy pills using a pill press machine,” he added.
