Message from Pangdam Siliwangi, Major General TNI Kosasih, to the Community: Safeguard the TMMD Development Outcomes

A range of physical and non-physical targets under the TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) 128, operating under Kodim 0623 Cilegon, have finally been completed, marked by the closing TMMD ceremony at Indah Kiat Port, Cilegon City, Banten, on Thursday 21 May 2026.

Through Commander Korem 064/Maulana Yusuf, Brigadier General TNI Daru Cahyadi Soeprapto, the message from the Commander of Kodam III/Siliwangi, Major General TNI Kosasih, was delivered in the presence of hundreds of personnel from the TNI and Police, local government, industry and the public.

Following the completion of TMMD under the command of Dandim 0623 Cilegon, Lt. Col Inf Imam Buchori, he urged the community and related parties to safeguard the development results.

‘I call on all communities and related parties to maintain and safeguard the TMMD development results so that they offer maximum utility and can be felt in the long term,’ he said, on Thursday 21 May 2026.

According to him, nation-building must begin at the village level by taking into account all members of the community. He added that the TMMD programme is not only about physical works but also strengthens the unity (kemanunggalan) between the TNI and the community.

‘Through this programme the TNI is present to overcome difficulties as well as to accelerate development in the region. TMMD 128 is not only about physical development, but also a prerequisite for the unity between the TNI and the community,’ he stated.

Through this programme the TNI is present in the midst of the community to assist with difficulties as well as helping development in the region. During roughly one month of TMMD implementation, all physical and non-physical targets were completed 100 percent.

‘The success reflects the commitment, the spirit of mutual cooperation, and the high dedication of all TMMD task force personnel together with the community. I hope the spirit of togetherness and mutual cooperation that has been built will be maintained and enhanced,’ he said.

Continuing with his message, Major General Kosasih noted that the togetherness between the TNI, the Police (Polri), local government and the community is a major strength in stability and in accelerating national development.

‘The togetherness and unity that have been forged during the activities should be maintained and enhanced for the unity and defence of the region,’ he concluded.

Meanwhile, Dandim 0623/Cilegon, Lt Col Inf Imam Buchori, revealed that the activity is well aligned and synergised with the Local Government, so we are not standing alone; the Local Government is not standing alone, and the Musrenbang results truly serve the community.
