Management of PT Merdeka Gold Resources Tbk (EMAS) is preparing to overhaul its executive lineup by appointing new directors following the resignation of three board members on 18 March 2026. The company will hold a Shareholders’ General Meeting (AGM) to seek approval from investors.

The company has disclosed that this agenda follows the resignations of Albert Saputro, David Thomas Fowler, and Adi Adriansyah Sjoekri. The AGM will be conducted in accordance with the articles of association and applicable regulations.

“This agenda also includes plans to appoint Nicholas John Green, Barend Johannes Nicolaas Knoetze, and Suryadinata Tanu as Directors of the Company,” stated EMAS management, as quoted from the information disclosure on Saturday, 28 March 2026.

Nicholas John Green (49 years old) is a candidate for Director of EMAS, responsible for developing new growth projects, expanding operational facilities, and providing strategic direction across all subsidiary entities. He joined the group in May 2022 as General Manager and served as General Manager of the Pani Project at MMS until May 2024, before being entrusted as General Manager of GSM since May 2024.

Nicholas has extensive experience in the global mining industry with various strategic positions. Before joining the company, he served as Group Head of Projects at PT Meares Soputan Mining, a subsidiary of Archi Indonesia.

He also worked at PT Maruwai Coal under the Alamtri Resources Indonesia group, and has experience as Construction Engineer at Martabe Mine, Construction Manager at Nui Phao Mining Vietnam, and Project Manager at Ausenco Minerals Australia.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the University of Tasmania, Australia, and possesses a First Operational Supervisor (POP) certification from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).
