Mercure hotel to open soon

JAKARTA (JP): Accor Asia Pacific will see next month the opening of its newest hotel in Indonesia, the Mercure Rekso Hayam Wuruk on Jl. Hayam Wuruk, West Jakarta.

The hotel spokeswoman, Mirna A. Basalamah, said here yesterday that the 246-room property has a convenient location in the center of the capital's Chinatown within the old city and the Glodok and Mangga Dua shopping areas.

She said that in addition to comfortable rooms and suites, the new hotel also had international standard amenities including restaurants, a bar, a pub, a pool, a fitness center and a karaoke and game room.

The 18-storey hotel, owned by PT Adhi Putra Mulia of the Sosro Group, was situated on a 21,000 square-meter plot, she added.

Accor runs hotels under various brand names, including Sofitel, Ibis, Mercure, Novotel and Formule. The Mercure Rekso Hayam Wuruk is Accor's 24th property and its fourth Mercure in Indonesia. (icn)
