Merah Putih Village Cooperative Managers' Salaries Reach Rp8.3 Million, Here is the Funding Source
Jakarta, VIVA – The Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, Zulklyf Hasan, has revealed the budget source for paying the income of Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperative (KDKMP) managers. The funds originate from the State Budget (APBN).
Zulkifli stated that the budget for the managers’ income will be channelled through the state-owned enterprise (BUMN) PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara (Persero).
“It is the APBN, of course. But, from the SOE to the managers, it is through Agrinas Pangan,” Zulkifli said at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, on Friday, 2 October 2026.
Under this scheme, the payment of KDKMP managers’ income will be conducted via PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara (Persero), with the budget source derived from the APBN.
Village Cooperative Managers to Earn up to Rp8.3 Million
Zulkifli explained that KDKMP managers will receive income adjusted according to their placement region. In his statement, the mentioned income range is in the millions of rupiah per month.
“Fixed-term contract employees for two years, yes, two years. The income is between Rp6.8 million to Rp8.3 million. That is the range, depending on the region,” he said.
In the materials presented by the government, the income for KDKMP managers is stated to range from Rp6.3 million to Rp8.3 million. The amount is adjusted based on the area where the manager is assigned.
This adjustment takes into account regional conditions, including the minimum wage (UMK) of each respective regency or city.
Zulkifli also ensured that the figure received by KDKMP managers represents total income. This means the amount includes both basic salary and allowances.
Details of KDKMP Managers’ Income:
Income range: Rp6.3 million - Rp8.3 million per month
Income amount: adjusted by placement area
Considerations: includes the UMK of each respective region
Income components: salary and allowances
Status of Village Cooperative Managers as Contract Employees
In addition to regulating income, the government has also established the employment status for KDKMA managers. The village/sub-district cooperative managers will hold the status of contract employees under a Fixed-Term Employment Agreement (PKWT) scheme.
The period of service established under this scheme is two years. KDKMP managers will carry out their duties under PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara (Persero).
Zulkifli previously explained that the contract employee status applies for a two-year period, with varying income levels depending on the placement region.
