Merah Putih Cooperative Manager Selection Committee Scraps Rp 100 Million Penalty

Deputy Head of the State-Owned Enterprise Regulatory Agency Tedi Bharata stated that the National Selection Committee (Panselnas) for the Merah Putih Cooperative manager has revoked the penalty or fine of Rp 100 million for participants who decide to withdraw. “Thus, every participant can follow all stages of human resources training and development more freely and focus fully on personal capacity building,” Tedi said via a written statement on Wednesday, 17 June 2026. The Rp 100 million penalty was stipulated in point 13 of the statement letter for the Merah Putih Cooperative and Merah Putih Fishermen’s Village manager selection. Point 13 of the statement letter required participants who resign at their own request before the end of the two-year service bond period to pay a penalty. Along with the changes to administrative requirements, Tedi hopes that all participants declared successful remain committed and complete the entire series of programme stages in accordance with applicable regulations. Meanwhile, participants who have been declared successful and have submitted a resignation related to the Rp 100 million penalty provision are asked to confirm their willingness to participate in the human resources training and development stages.
