Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf), Teuku Riefky Harsya, stated that a content-based digital ecosystem can open up market access, particularly for business actors, to create new economic opportunities within the digital economy ecosystem. “Together, we are building an ecosystem where creativity meets technology, and where innovation can be realised as tangible economic opportunities,” Riefky said in an official statement received on Thursday. Teuku Riefky added that currently, digital content not only serves as entertainment or information but has become the main driver of economic activities, including consumer decisions. “This is a concrete form of how platforms can drive local economic growth. Moving forward, we hope this collaboration can be further strengthened with sustainable synergies, in line with the government’s vision that the creative economy will continue to be promoted as the new engine of growth for the Indonesian economy,” he explained. Head of Dining Key Account Merchant at TikTok GO, William Panjaitan, stated that content plays a significant role in influencing consumer behaviour, particularly culinary trends and lifestyles. “Our role is to provide the best facilities for business development and to reach your upper limits. And our promise is simple: to help consumers find their favourite products and turn discovery into sustainable growth,” he said. Previously, the collaboration between the Ministry of Creative Economy with TikTok and Tokopedia through empowerment programmes such as emak-emak and Gen Matic has reached 10 provinces with more than 1,200 beneficiaries in the previous year.
