Member of the Regional Representative Council Emphasises Importance of 'Sekolah Rakyat' in North Kalimantan

In an effort to ensure the educational rights of children in border areas, a member of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) conducted a working visit to Sekolah Rakyat Tarakan, North Kalimantan, on Monday (18/5). As the first boarding-based school in North Kalimantan, this institution serves as a crucial solution in supporting dozens of children from families living in extreme poverty, including assisting with the resolution of their population administration and civil registration.
