Member of DPR RI Commission III Appreciates Aceh Police's Performance

Banda Aceh (ANTARA) - Nazaruddin Dek Gam, a member of Commission III of the DPR RI, appreciated the performance of the Aceh Regional Police in securing Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah/2026 CE in the westernmost province of Indonesia.

“The security for Eid al-Fitr, both for the mudik flow and the return flow this year, went well. Therefore, we appreciate the performance of the Aceh Police,” said Nazaruddin Dek Gam in Banda Aceh on Wednesday.

In addition to the Eid al-Fitr security, Nazaruddin Dek Gam, who is also the Chairman of the DPR RI Honour Court, appreciated the Aceh Police’s performance in handling hydrometeorological disasters.

According to Nazaruddin Dek Gam, the good Eid security can be seen from public satisfaction and the lack of prominent incidents disrupting public security and order.

“Alhamdulillah, overall, the situation in Aceh Province is safe and conducive. Traffic flow, including in flood-affected areas, is monitored to be smooth. The public can carry out mudik activities and celebrate Eid safely and comfortably,” he said.

As a DPR member from the electoral district in Aceh Province, Nazaruddin Dek Gam said he is proud of the dedication of all police personnel on the ground.

The president of Persiraja, a Liga 2 football club, emphasised that the hard work of the police apparatus has provided a sense of security and happiness for the community in celebrating Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.

Therefore, Nazaruddin Dek Gam conveyed his appreciation to the Aceh Police Chief and all ranks for their performance deemed extraordinary in handling various situations, from disasters to mudik security.

“Thanks to the efforts and hard work of the Aceh police ranks, the Eid atmosphere in this westernmost province of Indonesia can truly be felt by all levels of society with a full sense of security,” said Nazaruddin Dek Gam.
