Megawati to go to KL, Bangkok

JAKARTA: President Megawati Soekarnoputri is slated to embark on
another overseas trip later next month, to discuss various
bilateral issues with Malaysia and Thailand.

There is not yet any fixed schedule for the visit with
presidential palace officials saying that they are still
discussing it with the two countries.

"It is around August 22 or 28, but it will be only for a few
days," the official told The Jakarta Post on Monday.

Megawati is expected to discuss various bilateral issues such
as borders and migrant workers as well as various security issues
with the neighboring countries.-- JP
